The AEO Tour ranges from 14-25 universities and colleges. We strictly limits the number of colleges from each state and diversity is also maintained in types of institutions allowed on each tour. These strict diversity requirements ensure more successful recruiting for each participating college.

A typical day on the AEO Tour is very busy, but very effective and fun. We typically depart around 7am-8am and visit 3-4 schools for our own university fairs. Each city will have around 15 universities participating, so it is not competitive like the huge multi-school public fairs. Your institution will definitely stand out and you will have access to hundreds of students. Since we try to schedule as many visits as possible each day, we do not have time to stop for lunch on most days – but we are amazing at ordering lunches for the participants and providing a variety of snacks and plenty of water on the bus for everyone. Occasionally, we will have time to stop at a mall for lunch if the schedule allows. After the school fairs, we usually arrive back at the hotel around 4-5pm. In most cities, we will have counselor dinners with the group and these are incredible networking opportunities at amazing restaurants. We are typically in each city for 2-3 days and then we move on to the next city. Each tour (around 2 weeks) will consist of 30+ school fairs and 3-4 counselor dinners. It’s a busy time for sure, but it will be one of the best work trips you have ever been on!

School visits on the AEO Tour are typically fast and furious. We usually have multiple school visits a day and we need to adhere to the schedule in order to be on time for all of the visits. Visits are usually 30 minutes to 1 hour in length and are mostly college fair style, with each university/college having a table to display their tablecloth and marketing materials. Sometimes there is time for each university to share a quick 1-minute presentation, but most of the visits are what you would expect at a typical college fair. Since the AEO Tour has been in business for 40 years, our reputation with the high schools is excellent and most high schools bring out all of their students when we visit.

Activities are planned in each city after work and you will not only work hard, but also have an amazing time. 

When you fly into the country for your first stop, it is your responsibility to get from the airport to the hotel. The same applies when you leave the tour – it is your responsibility to get from the hotel to the airport. Once you join the AEO Tour, all of the ground transportation is included. Most of the countries on the tour use Grab (like Uber), so we would recommend downloading the app before you arrive. Grab makes getting around very easy and it is also very affordable. 

We are sure you have noticed that a full tour with AEO Tour (inclusive of inter-Asia flights and hotels) is much lower than other tour companies’ options for school visits only. We stay in the top hotels, visit more schools, have longer tours, and have larger turnouts at our exhibitions. A staple of AEO Tour is that we make international recruitment easy, affordable, and enjoyable. We don’t have a fancy office or lots of overhead, so we are able to make the tours as effective and affordable for you as possible.
